My Story

Annterria is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner with 12 years of nursing experience. For nine years Annterria had to battle with reoccurring bacterial vaginosis. The recommended treatment at the time was antibiotics. She tried different antibiotics, but none of them helped the infection to leave for good. In fact, the antibiotics caused a yeast infection. The yeast infection had to be treated with an anti- fungal. Thus, adding another medication to she had to take. Being a Nurse, this was frustrating to deal with every month. This reoccurring infection affected her confidence and intimate life.

In 2018 was the last and final time she went to a doctor to prescribed treatment. This time it was a six- month antibiotic and anti-fungal regimen. Things were fine for six months. For month seven things were good, she started to think the six-month treatment plan worked. Then month 8th it came back and that was Annterria’s last straw.

Becoming frustrated with bacterial vaginosis and yeast infection, Annterria did some research on natural home remedies for treatment. Boric acid suppositories changed the game for vaginal infection treatments. 21 million women between the age of 15-44 will experience a vaginal infection at least once in their lifetime. Thirty percent of those women will suffer with reoccurring vaginal infections. With her expertise and own testimony, Annterria created Vagesty offering women natural feminine hygiene products and education on feminine health.

Annterria then grew a passion to educate and treat women going through their weight loss journey, intimacy wellness, menopause and more. This led to her opening up her own practice "Vagesty Women's Center." Annterria has a history of PCOS she was diagnosed in her late 20's, gastric sleeve in 2018 and lost a total of 75+ pounds, as well has plastic surgery in 2023 to remove skin from her successful weight loss tool. Annterria can relate to the women she serve.
